Retreats & Vacation Bible School
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Because Vacation Bible School has proven in many parishes to increase the number of participants in regular catechesis for school age youngsters, we highly recommend that parishes or groups of parishes provide an opportunity for learning more about the Bible or their Catholic faith during the summer.
Catholics present the Bible in its historical, cultural, and linguistic context, therefore, we recommend a Catholic program be used for Bible School. We also recommend that presenters for either Bible school or any catechetical summer program be from the Diocese of Pueblo. If they are from outside the diocese they must obtain permission from the Office of the Bishop. For the Permission form click here. This form is in PDF format.
